As partners with CertainTeed— a more than 100-year-old independent guarantor of building materials, installation, and training— we offer factory and independently certified warranties at three levels, all of which cover the lifetime of the materials.
We partner with CertainTeed because they are the gold standard in ratings, training and warranties. Because your warranty is guaranteed by a third party, even in the highly unlikely event that Home Exteriors of Michigan were to go out of business, your warranty will still be honored.
We are able to offer these incredible warranties because CertainTeed has rated Home Exteriors of Michigan “Select Certified”, meaning we have achieved the highest level of certification offered to roofers in the United States. Only one percent of roofers in the US have achieved this level of certification.
All of our Installers, crew chiefs, and project managers are certified. We are regularly audited by CertainTeed, including with blind surveys, and must maintain a five-star level of service to maintain our status.
The typical age to replace a roof in Michigan is 15-20 years, but we offer warranties for far longer than this. These warranties are in addition to the factory warranty for the materials and offer an additional level of protection.
Three Level of Warranty
Standard
This means for 20 years, should there be a manufacturing defect in the materials used on your roof, we will replace or repair it, completely for free, including the cost of materials and labor.
50-Year Non-Prorated
This warranty is the same as Standard but lasts for 50 years concerning defects in materials, and is also non-prorated for all labor in addition to material.
50-Year Non-Prorated
Our ultimate five-star warranty includes everything the four-star warranty does, including defects in contractor workmanship for 25 years.
